This astrigent oil is a popular antiseptic and known for its tonic abilities. It is revered to relax spasms, suppress perspiration, suppress lactation, and improve liver function. It also improves digestion and has anti-inflammatory, and anti-depressant properties.

Instructions for Use

Sage oil can be taken orally to cure digestive problems and flatulence, minimize excess production of breast milk, reduce night sweats, reduce excessive salivation, and reduce perspiration, anxiety, and depression. It is also known to have properties to support the liver and it is used to promote healthy liver function. The oil can be used externally to treat insect bites, or to treat infections in the throat, and mouth, and most skin infections. It is also a good treatment for acne, and greasy hair.

This oil is very powerful, and should be used with caution. In aromatherapy, people generally find that less is better.  Diluting with just one percent Sage Essential Oil, should be sufficient for most uses. Can be diffused undiluted.
