History and Additional Information

Fir needle trees are tall reaching up to a height of 80 meters. They are easily identifiable from other members of the pine family by their needle-like leaves that were used for Christmas trees in early times. For centuries fir needles have been used for their healing properties.  The needles have a fresh soft balsamic forest like scent and are known to cure infections and wounds. They were commonly boiled and the resulting liquid was used to treat respiratory ailments. Its pleasant smell makes a wonderful addition to any massaging product.
