The sharp even herbaceous aroma from this oil is energizing and motivating, also calming. In Roman times it was called Mountain Savory the Satyrs herb, giving virility and love. This essential oil is used as an ingredient in lotions for the scalp in cases of baldness. This oil is closely related to and often mistaken as winter savory.
