History and Additional Information
This plant of Moroccan origin grows either once or twice a year and has a mature height of around 3 feet tall. The fact that the seeds were found in the tomb of Tutankhamun gives credence to the theory that this has been used for a very long time in Egypt where it was considered a very effective aphrodisiac. This is also why the Roman and Greek people add it to their wine as flavor. Coriander is also used religiously by the Carmelite order for the production of many things. Coriander is an ingredient in almost every meal served in Mexico.
