Safety Precautions for this Essential Oil: This oil is EXTREMELY TOXIC. The oil should NEVER be used during pregnancies. Even as low a dose as of 0.7g per kg of a body weight can produce convulsion. Due to this reason, the oil is not recommended to be used because of its high content of ascaridde.
Due to this high risk of the boldo, this otherwise potent essential oil is restricted in many countries.
